I don’t know what it was about this book that I didn’t like, but I really didn’t like it. This book was extremely depressing. I usually love depressing stories. Maybe it’s because I read this during the first week of December and wanted a light and fluffy book? I’m not sure…
I couldn’t connect with the characters, which is usually a huge no go for me. I didn’t feel like any of the characters had much of a personality. I couldn’t connect with them. Honestly, I could care less about the characters.. Like I don’t even remember their names. Isn’t that sad?
I didn’t feel like the story was really going anywhere. After the main character left the one place at the beginning, I felt like the story turned progressively worse. I’m not sure if I want to try reading it again or not…. I DNFed it at about 115-150 pages 😔
